Cuban Ambassador, His Excellency Narciso Reinaldo Amador Socorro, this morning,paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Oneidge Walrond, Minister of Tourism, Industry and Commerce at her South Road office.
During the visit, the Cuban Ambassador expressed appreciation to Guyana and CARICOM for their continued solidarity with the people of Cuba. The ambassador also expressed an interest in greater collaboration in the areas of agriculture, tourism and other sectors.
Opportunities in Cuba for the local private sector businesses, including participation at a major trade fair, were also discussed at the meeting.
